Keep walking in faith.
After everything — the pit, the slavery, the false accusation, the prison — Joseph stood as the second most powerful man in Egypt. When his brothers fell before him in terror, he didn't take revenge. He wept, embraced them, and spoke the most powerful words of redemption in scripture: "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good."
Joseph could see God's hand in every painful chapter of his story. Looking back at your hardest seasons, can you see any evidence of God's redemptive work?
What painful experience in your life might God be using — or have already used — for good?
Write a brief timeline of a difficult season in your life. Next to each painful moment, write what it taught you or how it redirected your path. Look for the thread of purpose.
